Dear Wausau East High School Students, Parents, and Community Members,

As we embark on the final stretch of the school year, I am writing to you with enthusiasm and encouragement to make April, May, and early June the absolute best months of this academic journey. We are at a pivotal moment, and by working together, we can ensure a strong finish to the year.

For our students, the key to success lies in follow-through and focus. April, May, and early June offer opportunities for academic achievements, growth, and memorable experiences. Lumberjacks, stay committed to your studies, engage with your teachers, and take full advantage of the resources available. Your dedication now will undoubtedly shape your future success.

Managing stress is crucial for both students and parents during this busy period. As academic demands increase, it's essential to find effective stress-management techniques. Students, don't hesitate to seek support from teachers or counselors. Parents, please be attuned to your child's well-being and offer a supportive environment at home.

Parents, staying informed and up-to-date with your child's academic progress is key. Regular communication with teachers and checking online platforms (Canvas and Infinite Campus) will help you understand your child's achievements and challenges. This collaboration between educators and parents ensures a holistic approach to student success. High School Musical said it best, “We’re all in this together!”

We also invite active participation from students, parents, and community members in our vibrant spring events. Whether it's supporting our sports teams - track, softball, baseball, lacrosse, tennis, golf, and soccer, attending cultural showcases - Cultural Arts Festival at East and spring concerts, or engaging in community service projects, your involvement enriches the high school experience for everyone. We encourage you to celebrate the achievements of our students and contribute to the sense of community that makes Wausau East High School exceptional. We’re incredibly proud of our students!

In the spirit of collaboration, let us work together to make these final months memorable and rewarding. Your dedication, focus, and participation will undoubtedly contribute to the success of each student and the overall well-being of our school community. Wishing you all a productive and fulfilling end to the school year.

Warm regards,
Jason Sinz
